Lego Language
Learning, exploring, meeting people—all of it is endlessly fascinating. At the same time, I long for stability, for familiar repetitions. I want to be more rooted so that I’m not swept away by emotional winds.
I am learning to see beauty in daily life—in communication and relationships—as I see it in nature: in the rhythm of the seasons, in the harmony of music and architecture, and in the details of how the external world is arranged. Beauty is more than what’s on the surface—it is hidden harmony and precision.
Over the past year, we’ve met many people, and with some, we have grown closer.
We’ve been warmly welcomed as guests and have, in turn, welcomed others into our space. When hosting, I feel a deeper sense of belonging—as if I am proving to myself that this place is truly home now.
Home is not a place we find. It is something we build—step by step, day by day.
If we consider Denmark as a gift, then the Danish language is like a construction kit—a challenging Lego set to assemble. Our school teachers are great at understanding instruction manuals. They teach us how to choose words to construct phrases. They pay attention to articles, which I keep losing (those important little details: en or et). To create our own phrase concepts, we need to perfect our skills with simpler topics. And now, we can already build our own little house out of Danish words—brick by brick!
A Teacher Like No Other
A teacher’s work does not disappear. It continues in the lives of students. A teacher is like a key that unlocks something dormant within us. Every instrument must be tuned by hand, carefully examining the results, listening for mistakes, correcting them, and offering encouragement.
